Year 1 History Day

Together Year One wrote a recount about their amazing History Day. It was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. We have to especially thank our incredible presenters, who shared with us their amazing knowledge and interesting artifacts.

Year 1 History Day

On Friday the 13th of May all of Year 1 were involved in the History Day.

Firstly, we watched a video all about the olden days. We really enjoyed seeing how the students were not allowed to slouch.

After that, we wrote with a feather and an ink pot. We found this easy and really fun!

Next, we went out to 12:00 to play games like tug of war, skipping, croquet, skittles, hoopla, hop scotch, totem tennis and quoits. I loved croquet the best.

Finally, we has some guest speakers to show us artifacts and items from the olden days.

It was the best day of Term 2!
